To return to innocence

Eravamo solo delle bambine quando la mamma ci infilava i calzettoni al ginocchio con le classiche stringate e, tra un mare di capricci, mai avremmo immaginato che da grandi li avremmo indossati di nostra spontanea volontà e, soprattutto che sarebbero stati di grande tendenza.

 E indossare le parigine di lana di Calzedonia, la mantella in tricot di Renato Balestra e le oxford shoes di Forever 21 mi ha fatto sentire un po' preppy e tornare un po' bambina.

We were only little girls when the mom slipped us the knee socks with the classic lace-ups and, among a sea of whims, we never could imagine that by adults we wear them by our own free will and, above all, that they would be very trendy.
And wear the wool knee-high socks of Calzedonia, the tricot cape of Renato Balestra and the oxford shoes by Forever 21 made me feel a bit preppy and return a bit little girl.
