Dalle ultime sfilate è palese quanto per le prossime stagioni gli stilisti siano stati più attenti alla comodità venendo incontro ai bisogni della vita reale, con capi oversize e scarpe basse per ogni occasione, rendendo però sempre più labile il confine tra uomo e donna, perchè ormai la genderless fashion, o la moda senza genere se preferite, è una realtà dei giorni nostri.

Se prima era quasi trasgressivo rubare qualcosa dall'armadio del proprio ragazzo ora non sarà solo normale ma dovremo abituarci all'idea che possa essere lui a prendere in prestito qualcosa dal nostro vestiario, non so se arriveremo a litigarci il foulard di Hermes o la pochette di Chanel ma per ora grandi griffe propongono capi unisex, come Casadei con la sua capsule collection "Fluid", una linea di scarpe che rende più "fluide" le differenze tra uomo e donna, e accessori prettamente femminili, come borse e scarpe con il tacco, pensati solo per gli uomini, come abbiamo visto nelle ultime sfilate di Gucci e Saint Laurent.

Seguono a ruota anche noti marchi low cost, quali Zara e H&M, il primo ha lanciato la collezione "Ungendered" nella linea Zara TRF, con 16 capi molto basici che sono perfetti sia per lui che per lei, mentre il secondo all'H&M Design Award 2016 ha premiato la giovane designer Hannah Jenkins la quale ha proposto una serie di creazioni sperimentali e soprattutto unisex.

Ma la moda a "sesso unico" ha contagiato anche i personaggi del jet set come Pharrell Williams che si è presentato ai Grammy Awards 2016 con l'iconica giacca Chanel, una tee bianca e jeans sdruciti, o anche l'elegantissima Victoria Beckham che è scesa dai suoi tacchi vertiginosi per entrare in un decisamente più comodo paio di sneakers rasoterra, salutando il pubblico alla fine della sua sfilata a New York con maglione over size e pantaloni grigi, un look decisamente più maschile rispetto a quelli a cui ci ha abituati.

I grandi magazzini Selfridges hanno inserito già da un un anno la sezione "Agender", un reparto totalmente neutro dove si possono acquistare articoli di Comme des Garçons o Yohji Yamamoto noti per i capi senza genere, e siamo sempre più abituati ormai a modelli di cui non si capisce bene il sesso, come Andrej Pejic che grazie ai suoi lineamenti ambigui riesce a sfilare per collezioni di entrambi i generi senza problemi.

Insomma, dovremo rassegnarci all'idea di dover sgomitare anche con l'altro sesso per aggiudicarci l'ultimo pezzo in saldo?
